Looks very blurry on ipad, it is meant to be played on an iphone...

Only reason why I have to stars is because I really like this series. I was excited to play it on my phone. After paying for, downloading and choosing my character it crashes on the selection screen. Things like this should be fixed first and foremost, even more so when your dealing with peoples money. A dollar or so isnt much but any app that needs to be purchases should have these major of problems fixed ASAP . Thats my review, Im sure when Im actually allowed to play the game my rating will change for the better. Hope this review is read and some action to Fix the game is taken.

Add MFI support, controls are mediocre at best. This game is begging for game pad support!

THE GAME IS GREAT! A little lag but hardly noticeable usually. This brings back so many memories! Please keep making the series!

This game is amazing and although you can play Bluetooth with someone nearby I think it would be even better if you could make an update were you could play multiplayer online with someone on Gamecenter because I dont know that many people who spend their money on arcade games on the App Store so please make it so that you can play on gamecenter thanks and keep up those Games!!!

I absolutely love this game! It works just like the arcade version. It works as smooth as ever, and I highly recommend it. Definitely worth $3.99.

For a port thats probably an afterthought snk and the dev they outsourced it to did a decent job. The biggest problem is the controls. Although it is very very difficult to implement good traditional controls on a touchscreen, this is a decent job, with the glaring exception of the sensitivity. These controls are so unresponsive at times it breaks some parts of the game, especially boss fights. To clear them you have put in as many shots as you can, die, and repeat until winning. Please fix. Also, the SNK screen at the beginning that isnt optimized for iphone 5 is kind of jarring. thats a no brainer.

Always a great game. Controls are a bit choppy its easy to do one thing at a time. But cant do do two things, cant jump and shoot at the same time and when in a slug you can eject because of trying to jump and shoot. But the only problem with this game.

The game itself works really, however, it seems that after the latest patch, the movement stick doesnt seem to work all that well anymore. It sometimes wont move when I move it. Please take a look at it.

Bought for playing with my gf. However, the Bluetooth connection is really lagging... Cant play multiplayer mode... Is it an iPhone 6 plus problem or what?

Have you ever even played a metal slug game? There is no diagonal shooting. The diagonal movement is only for moving forward and shooting. Also, seriously? You want a refund because you cant shoot diagonally?

I love this game but theres a big problem, I cant play with another friend with the Bluetooth option, just single player

I like that this game is remastered as an app for my phone. However, Id feel better for my purchase if they controls would be fixed. The movement stick doesnt allow for my finger to move out of the range without stopping the character. The range of movement should be expanded or else Im playing a game where Im trying to move and get flanked with grenades because my character stops moving.

Other wise its a gold mine!

Please, for the love of god, fix the movement joystick. Make it bigger and make it where your character doesnt stop moving if you slide your finger off the lever when youre trying to run. Because of the horrible control design , its almost impossible to beat that huge column-jaw robot thing on level 2 without dying 20 times. Fix the controls, and Ill give you 5 stars.
